Reliance MediaWorks’ MediaNet platform, through the dedicated optic fibre connectivity has created a global grid, which interlinks the company’s film and media services that are geographically separated and spread across the globe.

By successfully connecting our facilities in India, Los Angeles and London through MediaNet we can support seamless high-speed exchange of data across our service offerings, including Restoration and Image Enhancement, VFX, Digital Cinema, DI Lab and Studios.

Due to the MediaNet platform, Reliance MediaWorks offices work collectively as a one stop shop for any media life cycle requirement globally and our customers gain the distinct advantage of being able to harness and optimally utilize the company’s worldwide expertise from an access point close to them geographically.

Our Setup

MediaNet platform uses the dedicated 500Mbps Global Ethernet Link via Reliance GlobalCom’s undersea FLAG network. All end locations are connected to their respective hubs forming a Global Area Network (GAN) and the link can be scaled up as per the company’s business requirements.

		What is the MediaNet platform offered by Reliance MediaWorks?

		MediaNet is a platform for collaboration where all the Reliance MediaWorks Film and Media Services across the globe are connected by dedicated OFC link to collaborate at high speed, which emulates workflow across LAN

		Can any third party be part of it?

		To access the Reliance MediaWorks MediaNet platform, one needs to be a client to at least one of the company’s business units, which will authorise the client to be integrated with MediaNet and the authorizing BU has to internally coordinate with MediaNet team to establish this link.

		How secure is the content transfer on MediaNet?

		MediaNet is an extremely secure medium of data transfer as all content goes through an on the fly AES256 bit encryption. Also, our end point security solution prevents any data loss/leak.

		What are perquisites for Reliance MediaWorks client to connect to MediaNet?

		a. Must be a client to at least to one of the Reliance MediaWorks facility. b. Must be willing to go thru a security audit by MediaNet Security experts c. Must possess a copy of Aspera client version WAN accelerator. d. Alternatively they can exchange data thru RMWM FTP server

		How to exchange data with clients outside of MediaNet?

		a. Must be a client to at least to one of the Reliance MediaWorks facility. b. After authorization from the respective RMW BU, the client will be given access to our Media FTP server, thru which the client can exchange data with Reliance MediaWorks Ltd.
